1 thing i have learnt

a thing i have learnt is my maths we were doing order of operation like 28+(3x4)
what do i need to improve on staying on task and listen to what the teacher has to say
i have enjoyed my maths because i have learnt order of operation 

day out at the beach

First thing we did was learn how to do cpr, then we went down to the boat and we got to start it and  revv it, but one time they reved it I was behind it and I got soaking wet, then we had morning tea then we learnt about the ripps in the sea then we went for a swim instead me and simon made a hole and I beared myself in it. The names of the life gards are cassie sophrose lisa and damian.
We all so did a rubbish clean up and the group with the most rubbish wins, we won we did chubby bunny,  the weetabix challenge, and human pyramid, we all so got to go out on the boat. then we had ice blocks.

what do i think i have improved in i think i improved in my maths.
what have to improve on is my maths even more.

maths reflection

1 thing that i've learnt skip counting.
1 thing that i need to work on division by practising these everyday firstly with xtables.
skills that i have learnt in my group to problem solve is to skip count and guess and check.

Tupaia navigator Tupaia also known as Tupaea or Tupia 1725  December 26 1770 was a Tahitian Polynesian navigator and arioi a kind of priest originally from the island of Raiatea in the Pacific Islands group known to Europeans as the Society Islands.


how did he die 
In November 1770 Tupaia died from either dysentery or malaria both of which were present aboard Endeavour during its berthing for repairs in Batavia.

As the Endeavour left the tropics, the situation deteriorated. Tupaia urged Cook to sail west, promising him an abundance of islands, but Cook refused and sailed south in conformity with his instructions to search for the ‘Great Southern Continent’. Acutely aware that he had lost his role as a navigator and interpreter of language and custom, Tupaia became depressed and withdrawn. Another conflict developed as Tupaia refused to eat the strange food Cook relied on to prevent scurvy. Consequently, when the east coast of New Zealand was sighted, on 6 October 1769, Tupaia’s advice was not sought, and when a party from the ship went on shore two days later, Tupaia was not included.

thing i learnt this year

i learnt to be confident to ask for help and im now learning to do my times tables beter  and i came  here to get beter at my learning because i was falling behind



i want to improve my maths and my spelling my everything

why do teachers strike

The people who teach this counters primary school aged children are unhappy about working conditions and have told the Government it is time for something to change.

But its not just about the pay its all so about the students

Teachers list of demands includes reduced workloads and stress and to ensure schools are equipped with resources such as a special needs coordinator in every school

Teachers want more time to teach. To date the demands set out by the union have not been met according to New Zealand Educational president Lynda Stuart. 

So come August 15 it is likely the gates to many schools across the country will be closed to students

i think that they should strike because we get beater stuff

on Monday we went to the  cehoperrashione of the SS otaki, first we listed to the karanga and the stood up and waited till Mr frazer and some others came, then we did some singing, and then we gave them some presets and the adults whent to the staff room to go and eat
